Safe & Supportive

UCOA’s Grief Support Group led by Rev. Kathy Zavada is a safe and supportive environment to help those who are going through a process of grieving. Grief can feel daunting, especially in the first year of bereavement.

All are welcome.

What to Expect

• Meditation, chanting, and sharing from the heart.
   
  
• We will share what does and doesn’t work for us in our grieving process.
   
  
• We will provide a gently guided circle and create a space for each person to share their grief process and favorite memories of the person who died.
   
  
• We will discuss what our relationship with the person who is no longer in the physical realm feels like.
   
  
• We will honor all emotions and create a nurturing circle to understand and explore our grieving process.

Attendance is by donation to support UCOA and are greatly appreciated. Your donations help UCOA periodically offer these Grief Support Groups throughout the year.
