Safe & Supportive
UCOA’s Grief Support Group is a safe and supportive environment to help those who are going through a process of grieving. The New Year can feel daunting while in a process of grief, especially in the first year of bereavement.
All are welcome.
In-Person & Online
We will have two separate groups meeting at the same time.
In-Person
We will meet in The Havurah with Rev. Kathy Zavada.
Online
We will meet via Zoom with Hypnotherapist and UCOA Board President Kate Steele.

What To Expect
- We will share what does and doesn’t work for us in our grieving process.
- We will provide a gently guided circle and create a space for each person to share their grief process and favorite memories of the person who died.
- We will discuss what our relationship with the person who is no longer in the physical realm feels like.
- We will honor all emotions and create a nurturing circle to understand and explore our grieving process.
- Poetry and music will be woven in to support our healing process.
Love offerings are gratefully accepted to support UCOA’s mission including holding ongoing Grief Support Groups throughout 2024.
Suggested Amounts are $5 to $25.
