Due to a glitch in the software, the time showing above is wrong.
Our Sunday Service is 11:00am to 12:30pm.
Join us as Rev. Kathy leads us in prayer, music, and song. After Service, we will have a Grief Support Group from 12:45 to 2pm.
Rev. Kathy shares:
I am so looking forward to an uplifting service this Sunday with the focus being on Imagination. Einstein said imagination was even more important than knowledge, that it was essential for us to be curious, to often wonder what more is possible for us, in our lives, and for humanity.
I believe each of our lives has a sacred purpose. And we should often ask, what is the still voice inside asking of me now? What am I here to learn? What am I here to offer? What does my present authentic expression look like?
Joseph Campbell describes our life journey as the Hero’s Journey, the call to adventure, a grand summons that beckons the hero to leave old concepts and conditioning and journey forth into new ways of being. And, the hero is usually reluctant to leave what is comfortable and habitual, often refusing the call or delaying it. We often find change calling, but it feels like an inconvenient time or just too much effort.
But, once the hero accepts the call, then he or she receives special aid on the adventure; magical allies who help the hero make important decisions and discover new possibilities in themselves. I think of our spiritual community of equal co-creators as these kind of allies, spiritual friends that come together, lift each other up, and empower one another to imagine our greater possibilities, both individually and as community.
I hope you will join us for a magical, wonderful Sunday with beautiful music, including one of my favorites, Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
If you are unable to attend in person or are feeling a bit unwell, we invite you to attend our Sunday Service online via Zoom.
