DESCRIPTION:Due to a glitch in the software\, the time showing above is incorrect.Our Sunday Service is 11:00am to 12:30pm. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPeggy Rubin will be our guest speaker on Sunday\, July 12.  \n\n\n\nPaul Briggs will provide music. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Peggy Rubin\n\n\n\nPeggy Rubin is founding director of the Center for Sacred Theatre in Ashland\, Oregon. She is a Shakespearean actress and leads workshops in Living Life as Sacred Theatre and Sacred Studies of the Divine Feminine. Since 1987\, she has also been the principal teaching associate of Dr. Jean Houston. \n\n\n\nWorking with Jean\, Peggy has presented classes\, workshops and trainings throughout the United States\, and in Australia\, New Zealand\, England\, Ireland\, Sweden\, Greece\, Egypt\, The Netherlands\, India\, West Africa\, Indonesia\, Hong Kong\, Taiwan\, Jamaica\, and on behalf of the United Nations Development Programme\, in Albania\, St. Lucia\, Barbados\, Kenya\, and the Philippines. \n\n\n\nIn her book\, To Be and How To Be: Transforming Your Life through Sacred Theatre\, Peggy highlights the “Nine Powers of Sacred Theatre” to probe the sacred theatre of our lives as a spiritual path of transformation. \n\n\n\nSpirituality and Practice summarizes Peggy’s teaching as: \n\n\n\n“The metaphor of life as the stage on which we embody our passion and purpose is a rich one…[and]…The important thing to remember is that each of us is the leading character in our life\, which means we must do our best to be at our best. It is also essential that we develop the story of our life and put it in sync with the unfolding story of Life on Earth. Like many of her contemporaries\, she searched for fulfillment through relationships\, career\, motherhood\, subculture experiences\, political activism\, and spiritual practice. \n\n\n\nWhile she had never planned to go to India\, it was on the banks of the Ganges River that her search ended. In 1990\, Gangaji met her teacher\, Sri H.W.L.
