DESCRIPTION:Safe & Supportive\n\n\n\nUCOA’s Grief Support Group is a safe and supportive environment to help those who are going through a process of grieving. The New Year can feel daunting while in a process of grief\, especially in the first year of bereavement. \n\n\n\nAll are welcome. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn-Person & Online\n\n\n\nWe will have two separate groups meeting at the same time. \n\n\n\nIn-PersonWe will meet in The Havurah with Rev. Kathy Zavada. \n\n\n\nOnlineWe will meet via Zoom with Hypnotherapist and UCOA Board President Kate Steele. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAttend Online\n\n\n\nClick the button below to join Kate Steele online with Zoom at 1pm on January 21. \n\n\n\n\nJoin on Zoom\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat To Expect\n\n\n\n\nWe will share what does and doesn’t work for us in our grieving process. \n\n\n\nWe will provide a gently guided circle and create a space for each person to share their grief process and favorite memories of the person who died. \n\n\n\nWe will discuss what our relationship with the person who is no longer in the physical realm feels like. \n\n\n\nWe will honor all emotions and create a nurturing circle to understand and explore our grieving process. \n\n\n\nPoetry and music will be woven in to support our healing process.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLove offerings are gratefully accepted to support UCOA’s mission including holding ongoing Grief Support Groups throughout 2024. \n\n\n\nSuggested Amounts are $5 to $25.
