DESCRIPTION:Rev. Kathy continues her six-week series on The World Religions. The talk for week four is\, “Taoism: The Wisdom of The Tao Te Ching.” \n\n\n\nWe are coordinating this series to familiarize our congregation with the Interfaith approach to spirituality as well as how Unity is based on Interfaith teachings and philosophy. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNEW MEMBER CEREMONY\n\n\n\nWe will have a Special New Member Ceremony & Potluck today and welcome our new members that attended the Membership Introduction & Orientation class on February 11. \n\n\n\nPOTLUCK\n\n\n\nAfter service\, we invite everyone to enjoy a UCOA community potluck and welcome our new members! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs always\, if you are unable to attend in person or are feeling a bit unwell\, you can participate in our Service online via Zoom.  \n\n\n\nJust click the button below at 10:45am: \n\n\n\n\njoin on zoom

SUMMARY:New Member Ceremony & Potluck
DESCRIPTION:We will take a few minutes during Sunday Service and welcome our New Members with a special ceremony. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDescription\n\n\n\nRev. Kathy will invite our in-person new members to come up front while those online will be highlighted on the screen. \n\n\n\n\nRev. Kathy will ask new members to affirm a few statements of faith;\n\n\n\nwe will share some lovely words of welcoming to them; \n\n\n\nthey will be offered a small gift from UCOA; and\, then\,\n\n\n\nwe will all sing to them.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPotluck\n\n\n\nAfter the service is over\, we’ll have a potluck and enjoy some food\, refreshment\, and community. All are welcome! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNote: Participants in this ceremony will have attended the New Member Introduction & Orientation held the previous week on Sunday\, February 11.
